Ladestien – Hiking tour along the fjord

Come stroll along the Trondheim Fjord, discover its beach and its ruins dating from the Second World War.

Come discover with us the third longest fjord of Norway. Start your tour at the Korsvika beach, a hidden gem of Trondheim. Walk along the fjord, learn more about the WWII remains, admire Norway’s flora & fauna and enjoy stunning landscapes.
From the start to the end of your tour, follow your guide through a time travel from the Viking Era and the Lade Jarl Period to Nowaday’s Norwegian history and lifestyle, including WWII.

How to get to the meeting point

The meeting point is at the Korsvika Car Park , 5 minutes away from the bus stop Ingemann Torps Vei.
From the city center : take the bus number 2 towards Strindheim and stop at Ingemann Torps Vei. You can find the itinerary from the bus stop to the meeting point : here

The ending point is at Rotvoll , 5 minutes away from the train station and 10 minutes away from the bus stop Rotvoll.

To go back to the city center : take the train R70 and stop at Trondheim S or take the bus 20 towards Romolslia.

Available

Hiking tours are available from May to October. We keep ourselves the right to offer you a change depending on the weather conditions (storm, snowfall, flooding, etc.).

What to bring

For this type of tour, we highly recommand to wear hiking shoes and appropriate clothes. Do not forget to take some water with you, it is always better to be hydrated during a hiking tour.
Norwegian weather can sometimes be unpredictable and the visit takes place outdoor. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear.

If you are late

If you are going to be late, contact us as soon as possible (before the beginning of the tour) and let us know your location. After your message we can wait up to 10 minutes after the starting time. Without any news from you, the tour will start at the scheduled time and you will be considered as no-show.

If you have strict time obligation please inform us when making your reservation. If you notify us less than 24h in advance your time obligation will not be taken into account by our team.
